Random 5 Friday
Our little bantam, Butterscotch, laid her first egg yesterday! That was a long time waiting.
Dental work is so discouraging in my family where bad teeth are in the gene's. I no more than recovered from last weeks dental procedure, and an old filling fell out. Ugh.
I usually prefer salty snacks to sweet ones. But when I am standing in line at the grocery store, 9 times out of 10, I leave with a Reece's Peanut Butter Cup :)
I love my job, my employers, and my co-workers. It is so enjoyable going
to work every day. I know how lucky and fortunate I am to be able to
say this.
Vacation plans are in the works. The thoughts of warmer places are helping keep us warm. Even though it's more than a month away, it's still nice to know that it's coming!

ReplyDeleteFor me the combination of salty and sweet can't be beat. My favorite right now are the sea salt chocolates in out local candy store. Very dangerous!

ReplyDeletei always think about snacks (even have asked the hubby if it works for him) ... i know some reach for certain flavors ...me i want what i want. no kind of salt or sweet. just something to satisfy the taste buds. i try to go for the best for my waist line.
i prefer salty to sweet as well, but dang, who can resist chocolate?!!

Oh, the peanut butter cups can hardly be avoided! :-) I hear you on the dental work. My family history isn't too good either, and I've had a lot of dental work in the past. Good luck on the vacation planning!

My hens have been on strike for a very long time. I have 11 hens and am getting 2 maybe 3 eggs a day. Some are old girls and some are 2 year olds. They molted in November and we have had a lot of extreme cold. It is fun to get pretty eggs. Yeah for you!
ReplyDeleteI have bad teeth too. I felt something funny, but didn't have any tooth pain. I didn't make a special appointment to see the Dentist and was slightly scolded when check up time came around. I lost a filling and should have taken care of it sooner.
Chocolate and Peanut butter are a wonderful combination!
Co-workers do make a big difference. I have been an at home ranch wife for 14 months. A bad day working with the Hubby is better than office drama. Glad you have a good work environment.
